I offer sessions at a sliding scale rate, ranging from $50 to $300 per session. I use the “Green Bottle” method of offering sliding scale therapy, developed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk. Below is a diagram detailing this.
My hope is that clients will be able to identify their level of financial means and pick a fee within that range. Therapy needs to be more accessible to everyone, if you’re able to pay the full or mostly full price range, just know that you are also helping to make therapy more affordable for other folks.
Importantly, this does NOT apply to people who are in network and using insurance — insurance companies sets your copay and this is something that unfortunately I am not able to adjust. Often times your copay is within the $15-$60 range.
